On Tuesday, KU reported the Center Party to the government for how it produced the bill to keep electricity subsidies for households a secret.

C believes that the referral bodies have been given too little time to review the proposal.

- The government thinks it is so important to make these extra proposals to keep confidential who receives the electricity subsidy, when instead they could have spent that time preparing matters about how northern Sweden and the companies are to know when they are to receive their subsidies, about which there are still a lot of question marks, says Elisabeth Thand Ringqvist, economic policy spokesperson for the Center Party, in SVT's Aktuellt.

Thand Ringqvist, who is behind the KU notification, believes that the proposal means that the government is making a departure from the freedom of the press regulation.

- It is an important principled piece of legislation that must not be brushed aside in this way, she says.

Camilla Brodin believes that the government is adopting a "precautionary principle".

- If this ends up in the hands of unscrupulous actors, what happens then?

she says.

- We see that every household is on its knees and then it is important to get this in place.

If we had an application procedure, we wouldn't see that this could be paid out, if you did you would need a complete administrative monster, she continues.
