“The draft law “On the termination of international treaties of the Council of Europe with respect to Russia” introduced by the president will be considered by the State Duma as a priority,” he said.

According to him, this week the Committee on International Affairs will submit the document to the Duma Council for distribution.

“I do not rule out its final adoption at a meeting of the chamber before mid-February,” Slutsky concluded.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin submitted to the State Duma a bill on the termination of international treaties of the Council of Europe with respect to Russia.
