As early as Tuesday evening, the snow storm moves in and it lasts throughout Wednesday, change until the early hours of Thursday.

A total of up to 20 millimeters of precipitation is expected, which corresponds to two decimetres of snow.

SMHI has issued a yellow warning.

- It will fall a lot.

At least one decimetre in any case, says Sjöstedt.

However, the snowfall can turn into rain, so it is uncertain how much pure snow will fall.

Traffic may be affected

The snowy weather can make traffic very difficult.

The warning states that bus, train and air traffic may be affected.

SMHI also points out that it is heavy wet snow that puts extra strain on roofs.

In addition, strong winds are expected in connection with the snowfall - up to 13 m/si in the villages.

The storm will disrupt traffic.

During Thursday the weather will be stable again and it is expected to last over the weekend.
