He noted that Iran opposes the conflict in Ukraine and supports the search for a political solution to the situation.

The minister added that the Iranian authorities condemn Western intervention aimed at fomenting the conflict, TASS reports.

Earlier, Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, called for the destruction of Iranian defense enterprises and the arrest of people involved in the supply of Iranian military products.

Podolyak had also earlier asked to "strike" Iran.

In particular, he called for the destruction of Iranian facilities for the production of drones and ballistic missiles.

After that, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani called Kyiv's threatening rhetoric irresponsible, adding that such calls would have political and legal consequences for Ukraine.
