According to the official WeChat news of the Reporting Center of the Central Cyberspace Administration of China, in December 2022, the Central Cyberspace Administration of China’s reporting center guided the national cybersecurity and informatization reporting departments at all levels and major website platforms to accept 14.628 million reports, a year-on-year increase of 14.628 million. Among them, the reporting center of the Central Cyberspace Administration of China accepted 671,000 reports, a month-on-month increase of 35.6% and a year-on-year increase of 111.5%; local network information reporting departments accepted 773,000 reports, a month-on-month decrease of 0.5% and a year-on-year decrease of 29.0%; major website platforms across the country 13.184 million reports were accepted, an increase of 24.2% month-on-month and a year-on-year increase of 17.7%.

  Among the reports accepted by major website platforms across the country, the number of reports received by major commercial website platforms accounted for 50.4%, reaching 7.377 million.

  At present, major website platforms across the country continue to unblock reporting channels and accept and handle reports from netizens.
