Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu inspected the headquarters of the Vostok group of troops while working in the special operation zone in Ukraine, the ministry said.
During the visit, the minister heard a report from the commander of the group, Lieutenant General Rustam Muradov, on the current situation and the actions of the commanding troops in other directions.
In addition, Shoigu heard the commanders of formations and formations on the progress of combat missions in the main directions.
It is noted that the minister paid special attention to the organization of comprehensive support for the troops involved in the NMD, the organization of fortification work and the creation of conditions for the safe deployment of personnel in the field, as well as the work of medical and rear units.
