“There is an ongoing process involving Turkey, Finland and Sweden.

I think this process is very productive in terms of removing the fears that Turkey has expressed about its own security," Blinken said at a joint press conference with British Foreign Secretary James Cleverley.

He noted that Finland and Sweden have taken steps to address these concerns.

According to NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, the alliance has shown that its doors are open by inviting Sweden and Finland, North Macedonia and Montenegro.

At the same time, he noted that the main priority now should be military support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
