A 23-year-old girl was injured on Monday night after being assaulted during a robbery committed against her by several minors in the Batán subway in Casa de Campo (Madrid).
The victim fell down the stairs when
her mobile phone was taken from her.
She ended up being transferred to the Clinical Hospital by a Samur ambulance with a possible broken hand and a bruise on the head.
A few minutes later, the Municipal Police of Madrid arrested one of the three minors who assaulted the young woman inside the first reception center for unaccompanied foreign minors (
menas)
of the Casa de Campo after the description provided by the witnesses and the victim.
He is of North African origin and
made him available to the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office.
He was between 11 and 15 years old, according to a Municipal Police spokesperson who confirmed the intervention of the agents and his arrest last night.
On December 22, another 22-year-old girl was the victim of a similar robbery,
falling down the same stairs of the Batán metro.

At around 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday, another Chinese citizen was also robbed as he was leaving the Batán metro.
They took a mobile phone and a tablet from him.
The alleged perpetrators were also several minors.
The minors who commit these robberies use the Batán station to perpetrate their misdeeds when there are no guards.
According to several subway workers,
they move the security cameras that focus on the scene of the crimes with sticks
