Shots rang out on Monday evening in the Pin-Sec district of Nantes.

Shortly after 11 p.m., a 22-year-old young man was taken care of by the emergency services on Boulevard Henri-Dunant after being "seriously" injured, reports the Loire-Atlantique departmental fire and rescue service.

The victim, medicalized by the Smur and transported in stride to the University Hospital of Nantes, would have been hit by two bullet holes in the legs.

Police have opened an investigation into what looks like "a gunshot settling," firefighters said.
