The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation announced that the number of participants in the "Customer First Forum" has reached more than 8,200 participants in 45 sessions held by the forum since its launch in early October 2022.

The forum will hold its sessions virtually, during which inquiries from employers, workers in the private sector, and job seekers among citizens will be answered on issues related to Emiratisation, labor market legislation and procedures for obtaining the Ministry's services, and their observations and suggestions will be listened to.

In a press statement, the Ministry stressed the importance of the forum in enhancing direct communication and partnership between the Ministry and the private sector, based on its being an interactive platform that allows the private sector and customers of all categories to review developments in labor market legislation, including decisions and regulations related to Emiratisation and labor relations, which is part of From the digital participation adopted by the UAE government.

The 45 sessions of the forum reviewed the Cabinet’s decision to raise Emiratisation rates at a rate of 2% annually from skilled jobs in establishments that have 50 employees or more, as of 2022, and to achieve a growth rate in Emiratisation rates of up to 10% by the end of 2026. As well as the financial contributions that apply to establishments that are not committed to achieving these goals, amounting to 72 thousand dirhams for each citizen who was not appointed (by 6000 dirhams for each month of the year 2022), which increases progressively by 1000 dirhams annually until 2026. The program was also reviewed. “Nafes” and support packages and incentives for distinguished establishments that achieve qualitative achievements in training and employing citizens in accordance with the objectives of “Nafes”, including joining the Emiratisation Partners Club, which raises the classification of the establishment to the first category within the establishment classification system followed by the Ministry, and thus obtaining discounts of up to Up to 80% on the Ministry's services.The forum dealt with the controls and mechanism for the work of the wage protection system, self-assessment for establishments, and a set of ministerial decisions regulating Federal Decree-Law (33) regarding the organization of labor relations by Federal Law No. (9) regarding domestic service workers, as well as the advantages and procedures for participating in the unemployment insurance system. and mechanisms to support small and medium enterprises, as well as procedures for submitting labor complaints.

The forum sessions also included a package of services provided by the Ministry through its various channels, which would facilitate the journey of obtaining these services.
