25-year-old died after stabbing in Backa in Gothenburg - two sentenced

The two accused men were arrested less than an hour after the crime, which took place in August last year.

The men have denied any wrongdoing, and have claimed they were defending themselves.

But now one 19-year-old is sentenced to four years in prison and the other 19-year-old to one and a half years in prison.

Was charged with murder

The men were charged with murder, but are thus sentenced for aggravated assault and aggravated assault to the death of another.

The District Court writes in the judgment that if the act is not judged to be murder, by attacking the plaintiff with a knife and frying pan, the men have shown particular recklessness and brutality, inflicted severe bodily harm on the plaintiff and committed a fatal act.

The district court writes that the men committed the act with intent.

Both are also convicted of drug offences.
