Last night in UAE.

President Yoon Seok-yeol had a dinner with 130 businessmen accompanying him on his visit.

President Yoon, who called this trip an economy-oriented summit diplomacy, said that economic growth means increased employment, and that the government will actively help, saying that companies create large profits, creating jobs and raising wages, which is the right cycle.

[President Yoon Seok-yeol: I think we should think of ourselves as employees of the sales department or planning department of a company rather than as a public

official.

[President Seok-Yeol Yoon: You can call me directly, or if you let us know here in Yongsan, we will take action immediately.]

The joint statement signed by the two leaders of Korea and the UAE specified the UAE's investment of 30 billion dollars.

[Kim Seong-han/Chief of the National Security Office: The UAE's investment decision was specified in the summit joint statement, not the MOU.

This is (explicitly confirmed) the UAE's firm trust in the Korean economy.]

There are 48 economic cooperation MOUs signed by the Korean government and companies with the UAE, including 13 agreed upon in the presence of the leaders of both countries, including nuclear power plants, clean energy, and digital cutting-edge industries.

All schedules in the UAE, except for the visit to the ARK unit, were filled with events related to economic cooperation, exports, and investment attraction.

After finishing his 3 nights and 4 days schedule, President Yoon will move to Switzerland to attend the annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
