The power plant's in Ljungby dates from 1910 and during the floods in February 2020 they had to fight with wooden scaffolding, sandbags and pumps to keep the water away. 

But despite the fact that the flows have risen in recent days, there is no concern, the staff feel safe and know what to do.

- After the last flood, we have, among other things, built a wall, which is a permanent solution.

In 2020, we had to make a temporary solution with sandbags, boards and stuff, says Jan Olsson, electricity grid manager at Ljungby energi.
