According to RIA Novosti, the total number of foreigners in Turkey with a residence permit in 2022 amounted to more than 1 million 354 thousand people.
Thus, more than 153,000 Russian citizens received a residence permit in Turkey.
In second place are 131,000 Iraqi citizens and more than 100,000 Syrians.
On September 22, it became known that the Saeima of Latvia in the final reading approved amendments that tighten the procedure for extending a residence permit for citizens of Russia and Belarus.
