A domestic passenger plane carrying 72 passengers and crew crashed in central Nepal on the 15th, killing 68 people, including foreigners.

On the 15th, a Yeti airliner flying from Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, to Pokhara, a tourist destination in central Nepal, crashed into a valley about 3 kilometers from Pokhara Airport.



Footage from the scene showed that the aircraft was so severely damaged that it could not retain its original shape, and of the 72 passengers and crew on the plane, the military has confirmed the deaths of 68 so far.



In Nepal, the number of foreign tourists has decreased significantly due to the spread of the new coronavirus, but recently, Himalayan climbers have begun to return, and according to airlines, passenger planes from India, Russia, and South Korea have begun to return. It means that 15 foreigners were also on board.
