In the DRC, statements by members of the government are controversial.
The President of the Republic denounced and condemned in the strongest possible terms the discriminatory, stigmatizing and exclusionary remarks made in the context of raising awareness of the electoral process, particularly in enrolment.

During the Council of Ministers, Friday January 13, President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi denounced the behavior of the two members of the government.
He recalled that their mission is to be constantly at the service of the Congolese, without any distinction, and whatever their political or religious convictions.
