A million 600,000 dollars is not much for an organization that weighs billions in real estate assets.

The prosecutor also believes that the penalties should be heavier.

But this is

the first criminal conviction in

Donald Trump's immediate environment and, as such, it is a symbol for the former president who aspires to become one again.

Neither he nor his family are personally condemned.

However, there are still civil lawsuits for which the New York justice is asking for 250 million dollars.

What is sanctioned by this fine is a system of tax and financial fraud that has lasted for years.

The goal was to hide from the tax authorities benefits in kind, apartments, tuition fees or even cars that have benefited several senior leaders of the Trump galaxy.

Only one was convicted.

It was at the beginning of the week.

Allen Weisselberg

chose to plead guilty.

According to the agreement made with the authorities, he will spend 5 months in the prison of Rikers Island.

But when he comes out, he won't have lost everything.

The Trump Organization continued to pay him an annual bonus until his conviction, after which the two parties parted ways with an agreement that people familiar with the case, quoted by the American press, say are quite generous.
