A 20-year-old motorist was arrested on Wednesday evening in Trappes (Yvelines) after nearly running over her father and hitting three police vehicles.
The young woman was also inhaling nitrous oxide while driving, reports FranceInfo.
It was the driver's father who alerted the police.
He explained that his daughter had fled the family home by car, narrowly avoiding running over him.
The police quickly spotted the driver, sitting at the wheel of her car and inhaling nitrous oxide, a laughing gas.
Three officers injured
Seeing the police, the young woman fled.
As she ran, she hit three police vehicles.
Officials eventually used a "stop stick" bar on the road to puncture his tires and end his run.
