According to him, providing access to European information networks to the US military poses a threat to EU cyberspace and gives the US the opportunity to influence EU policy.
“The very fact that a state grants access to another state, even a friendly one, to its confidential data opens up the possibility for intelligence gathering, and therefore for espionage,” the report says.
Earlier, Reuters, citing some records on the network and the words of anonymous cybersecurity experts, reported that “Russian hackers” allegedly attacked three US nuclear research laboratories.
