Both Torbjörn Karlsson and Mikael Rubin were the only full-time municipal councilors during their terms of office.

- I am very surprised.

I do not think that Trelleborg's size, 45,000 inhabitants, or the complexity of the issues can be of such a dignity that it is necessary to go from one to four municipal councilors, says Torbjörn Karlsson (S).

- I am very surprised and it will be exciting to see what they will be busy with.

Politicians will not have it easy in the next four years if they stay that long, says Mikael Rubin (M).

"Political suicide"

They also believe that before the election the politicians should have been informed about the organization, number of municipal councilors and what the politicians' fees should be.

Now this happened after the election.

- You buy up a government and the plan is political suicide.

It will be remembered until the next election, says Mikael Rubin (M).

- I think that it is largely about getting a majority together.

There are four parties and there is a representative for each of these parties who will now become full-time politicians, says Torbjörn Karlsson (S).

SVT Nyheter Skåne has applied for the four new municipal councilors from M, KD, SD and L. The chairman of the municipal board Ann Kajson Carlqvist (M) says she has no comment and the other municipal councilors have not responded.
