Britain's Prince Harry said the first draft of his autobiography was twice as long, suggesting he had more to write about his father, King Charles III, and older brother, Prince William.

In an interview with the British Telegraph published on the 13th (local time), Prince Harry suggested that he had enough material to write more books, saying, "My autobiography could have been two volumes of 800 pages originally."

"There are things between my father and my brother that I don't want the world to know about," he said.

Prince Harry said that after 50 video conferences with the ghostwriter, it was difficult to decide what to include and what to leave out.

He insisted that it was impossible to tell his story without mentioning his family.

The Telegraph said the royal family would be very concerned about further disclosures.

A royal official pointed out that Prince Harry may have to write more books for financial gain, the Telegraph reported.

This interview was conducted at the home of Prince Harry and his wife in California, USA, before the book was published.

Prince Harry said he felt a responsibility to reform the royal family for Prince William's three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

He said, "I know that at least one of the three will be a 'spare' like me, and that breaks my heart and worries me."

"I'm not trying to bring down the monarchy, I'm trying to save the royal family," said Prince Harry.

He said his family may not like him now, but in a few years they will appreciate him speaking so openly about his trauma.

Prince Harry has said his royal family should apologize to his wife, Meghan Markle.

He added that if they had listened when he sounded the alarm, he could have avoided this situation.

Prince Harry has also admitted that he doesn't understand why telling his true story is considered shocking and strange.

Still, he vowed to continue fighting the good fight for Markle and other women, and he said, "What's the purpose of life if you're not an example."
