According to the sources of the agency, in connection with the growth of demands coming to Berlin for the supply of military equipment to Kyiv, "Germany will most likely decide to supply Leopard."

According to one of the unnamed German officials, the decision will be made before the meeting of senior representatives of the NATO ministries of defense at the US Ramstein air base, which is scheduled for January 20.

Earlier, Polish President Andrzej Duda said during a press conference in Lvov that Poland would transfer a company of Leopard tanks to Ukraine as part of an international coalition.

After that, Berlin reported that the FRG had not received any requests in connection with Poland's plans.

At the same time, the German Cabinet stated that the transfer of Leopard tanks to Ukraine from Poland without the permission of Germany would be illegal.
