In November 2021, Stefan Löfven submitted his resignation as Sweden's Prime Minister and Member of Parliament.

In February last year, he accepted the assignment to lead a high UN advisory panel, and in October he was given the job of chairman of the European Social Democratic Party.

Now Löfven is taking the step to become an entrepreneur, something that Dagens Opinion also wrote about in a newsletter.

Together with his wife Ulla Löfven, he has started the limited company Sorvage AB, a name which probably comes from the place name Sörvåge outside Örnsköldsvik where the couple have a holiday home.

According to the business description, the former prime minister will be engaged in "consulting activities within lectures, speeches, business, organizational and operational development as well as owning and managing securities and carrying out activities compatible with this."

SVT has sought Stefan Löfven, but he says via his press secretary that he declines to comment.
