An RT source also said that during the launch of broadcasting under a new brand from a studio in Amsterdam, the host of Dozhd, Mikhail Fishman, will lead the Dutch office. 

According to the interlocutor of RT, the team of the new TV Rain project will be expanded to 30 people, while broadcasting is expected to be carried out throughout Europe.

In addition to the main broadcast in Russian, the possibility of launching programs in English is also being considered. 

Dozhd's management also continues to negotiate a license in Georgia, where the TV channel has a studio to work for the CIS audience.

As RT reported earlier, Derk Sauer supported the idea of ​​​​opening Rain in Amsterdam and offered to help with financing.

Founder of the Independent Media publishing house and The Moscow Times newspaper, former publisher of Vedomosti, as well as the Russian versions of Cosmopolitan and Men's Health magazines, Sauer is well acquainted with the domestic media environment, lived in Russia and remained an influential figure in the Moscow media market until the updated law came into force which limited the share of foreign capital in the media.
