Special Committee for Government Investigation into the Itaewon Disaster held a public hearing attended by bereaved families, survivors, and local merchants.
The bereaved families pointed out the problems of the government's response after the disaster and appealed for the need for an accurate investigation and punishment of those responsible.

Eight bereaved families, two survivors, and one local merchant attended the public hearing of the special committee for the government investigation into the Itaewon disaster held at the National Assembly in the afternoon of today (12th).
First of all, the survivors stated the situation at the time of the disaster on October 29 last year.

Another survivor also said that the authorities did not manage the crowd at all during the disaster.

bereaved families complained of mental pain from secondary harm, pointing out the problems of the government's response after the disaster.
