Peskov called the situation around the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant alarming due to shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine

This was stated by the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov.

“It is still worrying, as before, the Ukrainian side considers it possible to carry out shelling,” the Kremlin spokesman said.

Earlier, the head of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi, announced plans to travel to Ukraine next week and subsequently go to Russia.

He noted that a security zone around the ZNPP should be created solely to prevent a nuclear incident.
