Opening of the "new Jebel Jais" road in Ras Al Khaimah

The Public Services Department in Ras Al Khaimah, represented by the Public Works Agency, opened the "New Jebel Jais" road from the Ring Road, passing through the Wadi Haqil area, to traffic.

The project comes within the framework of the infrastructure development strategy and the establishment of modern roads, which embodies the wise vision of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, in maximizing the benefit from the tourism position of the highest summit of Jebel Jais in the country, in line with keeping pace with the needs of urban expansion in the regions of the emirate and enhancing its status.

This project is one of the projects emanating from the initiatives of His Highness the Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, which came under the directives of His Highness and the follow-up of Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Head of the General Services Department.

The new street is located on the Ring Road from Exit 611, with a total length of 8.6 km, in addition to reducing 75% of the travel time within 4 minutes. This vital and strategic project reflects positively on the emirate's tourism status and tourism investment.
