It has been confirmed that former Congressman Na Kyung-won gathered with his aides and discussed whether to run for the party's representative.

Former lawmaker Na is known to have actually decided to run for her run, and she is said to be struggling with the timing of her announcement as the president has a weekend tour ahead.

Former lawmaker Na Gyeong-won met with her aides in Seoul on the morning of the 12th.

It is known that she discussed with three or four former lawmakers whether or not she would run for party leader and when would be a good time if she announced that she would run.

One attendee said, "I will run unconditionally," and "However, the announcement of the run is a matter of timing."

Another attendee also strongly suggested running, saying, "It is not desirable to make an announcement ahead of the president's visit."

In order not to create an uncomfortable atmosphere ahead of the president's visit to the United Arab Emirates over the weekend, it is known that the announcement of the run was put on the side after the Lunar New Year holiday.

Three days have passed since former Congressman Na delivered his resignation to the Vice Chairman of the Low Birth Rate and Aging Society Committee to Chief Secretary Kim Dae-gi, but the President's office has not disclosed whether or not the resignation will be accepted.

A high-ranking official in the presidential office said, "The president wants me to continue to serve as vice chairman."

In response to the explanation from the President's Office that there was nothing to deal with because the resignation was not formally submitted, former Congressman Na decided to submit a formal resignation to the Low Fertility Commission today.

While former Congressman Na entered the Django for candidacy, Congressmen Kim Ki-Hyeon and Ahn Cheol-Soo today plan to visit Jungnang-gu and Gangnam-gu, respectively, to appeal to party members for support.
