According to the defense department, at one of the training grounds, Salyukov heard reports from the commanders of military units of the Russian Armed Forces on the conduct of combat coordination as part of a regional group of troops.
He also checked the conditions of accommodation and life of Russian military units, talked with the military and was convinced of the high quality of personnel training.
It is noted that the Russian military continues to undergo intensive combat training at training grounds in Belarus.
On January 6, another echelon with military equipment from Russia arrived in Belarus to build up the regional grouping of troops.
