Enterprises must hire target graduates with a monthly salary of no less than HK$18,000 in accordance with Hong Kong laws.

According to the number of employees, the SAR government will provide enterprises with a subsidy of 10,000 Hong Kong dollars per month per person for a period of up to 18 months.

  According to data released by the SAR government, the program recorded 417 companies providing 3,494 job vacancies, and received more than 20,000 job applications submitted by graduates.

The recruitment period of the scheme will end at the end of August 2021, and a total of 1091 job offers for graduates have been received.

  Sun Yuhan said that the optimization measures that the SAR government will introduce include: setting up a dedicated team to promote the plan, strengthening ties with enterprises, colleges, employer groups and other stakeholders; providing graduates who intend to participate in the plan with employment in mainland cities in the Greater Bay Area practical information; and follow up on the employment situation of the recruits during and after the completion of the project.
