The children must have been partly in Kungsbacka and partly in Halmstad.
In a press release from the Public Prosecutor's Office, prosecutor Eva-Lotta Swahn, who does not want to make any further comments, says that the children are suspected of having been taken abroad.
- We have strong reasons to assume that they have not returned to Sweden and the future does not look bright.

According to information to SVT Nyheter Halland, at least three people have been detained in the case, from Halland and Småland.
The crimes are said to have taken place in October 2022.
