The leaders of the two countries plan to discuss a common vision on how to quickly end the conflict in Ukraine.
"The issues of key importance for the strengthening of democracy, in particular human rights issues, will also be touched upon," the message says.
Earlier, the White House announced the intention of the United States to continue military assistance to Ukraine.
