The weather will be overcast on Thursday and temporarily rainy over the northern half of the country, according to Météo-France forecasts.

Precipitation which will be sustained in places, in particular in Pas-de-Calais, which has been placed on orange alert for a risk of flooding on the Liane and Hem rivers.

Over a good northern half of the country up to Poitou-Charentes, Médoc, Limousin, Massif Central, Bourgogne Franche-Comté and Lyonnais, the day will take place under overcast weather, temporarily rainy and windy.

The rains will be more regular and locally marked from the north of the Seine to the Vosges mountains, then during the course of the afternoon in the northwest.

Good accumulations will be expected in particular from Nord-Pas-de-Calais to the Lorraine plateau.

It will snow on the relief of the Vosges and the Jura around 1,200 m.

Windy, sometimes strong
