King Charles III plans to visit Germany in the spring

Britain's King Charles III and his wife Camilla plan to visit Germany in the spring, Stern magazine reported Wednesday.

Sources told the German magazine that the king and his wife want to visit Berlin and Hamburg from March 29 to March 31.

There are rumors that there are talks about visiting another city in eastern Germany, although Buckingham Palace has not commented on the report.

A palace spokesperson said travel plans would be announced in due course.

Le Parisien newspaper said that it is reported that Germany will not be the first stop on the British king's first tour abroad, as King Charles and Camilla will visit France and meet President Emmanuel Macron.
