The Islamic State jihadist organization claimed responsibility for the suicide attack on Wednesday outside the entrance to the Afghan Foreign Ministry in Kabul, which killed at least five people.

The IS propaganda organ, Amaq, reported on

that one of the organization's members "managed to pass the checkpoints" of the Taliban "before detonating his explosive belt in the middle of employees and guards as they left through the main entrance" of the ministry, causing several deaths, "including diplomats".
