“International banks should finally implement their statements and exit the Russian market,” the release says.
It is specified that we are talking about banks such as Raiffeisen Bank International, Intesa Sanpaolo, OTP Bank, ING Bank, Credit Agricole.
According to the Ukrainian National Bank, the regulator has repeatedly appealed to these banks with a call to leave the Russian market, but at the moment states "lack of progress" in this matter.
Last November, the United States extended until March 7, 2023, a general license that allows American individuals and entities to pay taxes, fees, and import duties in Russia.
