The facts occurred on rue Nantaise, a stone's throw from the Lices market in Rennes.
That evening, several young people were gathered to party, when a corridor adjoining an apartment collapsed and gave way.
The victims had made a heavy fall from about four meters high, finding themselves suddenly scattered on the floor of an unlit cellar.
Several of them had to be hospitalized, for limb fractures in particular.
The toll, however, would have been more serious.
It is to obtain explanations and to speed up the investigation that a joint complaint of six people was filed on Tuesday.
According to the owner contacted by
Ouest-France
, the corridor was defective and its access was theoretically condemned by a closed door.
