Winter storms have continued for three weeks in California, which is famous for its sunny weather.

16 people have lost their lives so far as heavy rain and strong wind damage continued in various places.

The muddy water that swelled like a torrent hit the vehicle.



The rescue team climbed onto the car and evacuated the driver inside.



The river overflowed and swallowed the roads, and houses were submerged so that only the roofs could be seen.



Flood warnings have been issued in areas where more than 90% of California residents live as heavy rains of up to 30 mm or more per hour hit most areas in California, USA.



A total of 16 people have died so far, including a 5-year-old child who went missing after being swept away by the swollen river.

Meteorologists analyzed that a large amount of water vapor is moving in a long belt and the 'atmospheric river' phenomenon, which causes a lot of rain, is the cause.



The atmospheric river phenomenon is predicted to continue until the 19th, and the scale of damage is expected to increase.
