It was at the CES show in Las Vegas that Vinfast unveiled the specifications of the VF6, an electric compact SUV that will arrive in Europe (first in Germany, France and the Netherlands) in the coming months.

On the program: a 59 kWh battery and a single electric motor that powers the front wheels.

The manufacturer offers two versions of power and autonomy: the Eco develops 174 hp for 400 km, and the Plus goes up to 201 hp for 381 km.

Two large SUVs

In addition to the VF6, Vinfast will also market two larger SUVs on the Old Continent.

The VF8 is 4.75m long and the VF9 reaches 5.12m.

Both share the same electric powertrain of 408 hp and 640 Nm of torque.

Note that the batteries will not be included in the sale price, Vinfast preferring to opt for a rental formula, as Renault did at the start of its electric adventure.
