People’s Power Registration for the next party representative and the highest member candidate will be held for two days on the 2nd and 3rd of next month.

The People's Power National Convention Election Commission held its third meeting at the central party today (10th) and confirmed the schedule for registration of candidates for the party convention to be held on March 8.

Candidates' campaign period begins on February 5th.

The party representative election campaign is until March 8 if there is no runoff vote, and if there is a runoff vote, it is until March 12th when the runoff vote takes place.

Voting for the main contest will be held for 4 days from March 4th to 7th, using a combination of mobile voting and automatic response method (ARS) voting.

The date and method of the preliminary contest (cut-off), which determines the finalists, have not yet been set.

The date of preparation of the list of electoral corps (delegates, all responsible party members, and some general party members) participating in the party convention was set on the 31st.

All responsible party members counted up to this month are included in the caucus electoral college.

Election Commissioner Ham In-kyung met with reporters after the meeting and said, "At this point, the total number of electoral votes is 840,000."

The general party member electoral group, which is to be composed of less than 0.1% of the number of voters for each party member council according to the party rules, will be decided by lottery.

The deposit was decided at 90 million won for the party representative (40 million won for the preliminary competition and 50 million won for the main competition), 40 million won for the supreme council member, and 10 million won for the youth supreme council member (no distinction between inside and outside the hospital).
