Before Christmas, viral diseases spread like wildfire in Uppsala County - now the situation has calmed down on two fronts: The coronavirus seems to have reached its peak, according to Johan Nöjd, and the RS virus is no longer increasing.
Despite that, Region Uppsala still has the recommendations regarding the RS virus, i.e. to keep pre-school children at home if you have babies in the household.
- We want to see how it develops after the start of school before we say anything else.
We are happy that it is not getting worse right now, says Johan Nöjd.
