On February 2, a court in Moscow will consider the lawsuit of Russian bloggers against Meta

“The court received a lawsuit against Meta Platforms.

A hearing on it has been scheduled for February 2," the court told TASS.

It is specified that the preliminary hearing on the claim will be held behind closed doors.

Earlier, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said that Russian bloggers are forced to leave foreign social networks, but perhaps this is for the best.

In November, the Council of Bloggers under the Federation Council appealed to Russian President Vladimir Putin and Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev with a request to review the blocking of Instagram* and Facebook** social networks.
