In addition, in order to support learning for all generations, in addition to organizing a variety of programs and strengthening cooperation with the Internet, we will enhance "people-friendly broadcasting and services" for people with disabilities and the elderly. I will work on it.



NHK Plus will expand the delivery of regional news programs broadcast between 6:00 pm on weekdays and will include programs from all regional broadcasting stations.



On the other hand, for satellite waves, we will reduce one of the 2K satellite waves by the end of March next year, on the premise of maintaining the quality of programs.



Before this, we will revise the program in December this year, start two waves of the tentative name "New BS4K" and "New BS2K", and flexibly organize content that takes advantage of the characteristics of 4K and 2K.

NHK's budget for the new fiscal year is 644 billion yen, a decrease of 45 billion yen from the previous fiscal year. .



Business expenditures are expected to decrease by 17 billion yen from the previous fiscal year to 672 billion yen as we proceed with structural reforms such as controlling operating expenses.



The deficit of 28 billion yen in business balance, which is the difference between income and expenditure, will be compensated for by the "carry-over money for financial stability" that has been generated through efficient business management.
