During a meeting in St. Petersburg, Medvedev recalled that there were cases of failure of the approved deadlines for the state defense order.
According to him, this should not be allowed in any way.
He recalled that no one canceled in this case the responsibility for the plants and their management.
Medvedev also drew attention to the fact that “special criminal penalties have been introduced in accordance with a number of articles of the Criminal Code of Russia” in case of repeated violations.
“These are new rules, they have not yet been applied.
But we must understand that, if necessary, we will be forced to use them, ”said the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that he expects to fulfill the state defense order in 2023 in full.
