"On January 10, NPC Ukrenergo introduced a capacity limit in the Poltava region: from 00:00 to 07:00 - 437 MW and from 07:00 to 24:00 - 478 MW," the report says.

Earlier, Ukrenergo warned of possible emergency power outages in Ukraine amid rising electricity consumption due to cold weather.

The company clarified that electricity consumption in Ukraine has increased due to lower air temperatures and the start of the working week.
