Henrik has previously worked as a ski patrol in Sälen and has medical training.

Three years ago, he chose to further his education to become a registered nurse.

A job offer at the ambulance appeared - but the salary he was offered was a shock:

- I would have earned more if I had continued to work, than what I would have earned as an educated person working at the ambulance.

It's not where you think you'll end up salary-wise after three years of study, he says.

How would you like it to look?

- That you raise the salary to a level that is real based on the education you have.

In any case, I believe in some kind of salary ladder, where you earn more if you stay and further your education.

You should not have to change jobs to increase your salary.

Going to start at the emergency room in Falun now instead - hear more in the clip about what Henrik Karlsson thinks about the salary offered at the ambulance.
