Good violence is on the rise again.

The violence that serves the greater whole and against which nobody can really have anything.

So maybe the state power?

Not even close.

What is meant is the violence in the supposed fight against climate change.

At least that's what the self-adhesives of the very last generation and the presumed friends of Lützerath have taken up the cause of.

It is astonishing how quickly the blockades of streets and possibly soon stones thrown at police officers in a inclined public environment are revalued as legitimate acts of resistance against unreasonable politics.

Not only are the freedom rights of numerous road users ridiculed - as if it were only about short-term symbolic actions, not about significant consequences for numerous people.

A test for fair politics

No, it's about the continuous disavowal of democratically legitimate decisions.

Violations of the federal government against climate agreements can never be a justification for criminal activity.

On the other hand, every public protest, every punishment at the ballot box is appropriate.

Legal proceedings against violations of rights by state organs are also possible.

But if you take the law into your own hands, you give everyone else the right to do the same.

Many dream of another kingdom.

Hopefully the “nonsense word of the year” will not become a bitter reality.

The term “climate terrorism” is a reminder that lofty goals are often used to justify violence.

You have to stand up against unjust regimes.

Everyone who does not enjoy arbitrariness must support constitutional states and their procedures.

Lützerath will also be a test for fair politics.

Giving in to violent activists despises the weak and the peace-loving.

They in particular need the rule of law and its really good violence.
