The national electricity subsidies for companies and households are delayed, and Växjö municipality has therefore decided to be able to temporarily postpone bills in order to mitigate the effects of the electricity crisis.

The option to postpone payment primarily applies to invoices for health and care fees and childcare fees.
- The possibility has always existed for certain groups, but now we are communicating to all residents of the municipality who feel that they cannot afford to pay the bills due to high electricity bills, says Malin Lauber (S).
A grace period can be applied for invoices with due dates in January and February and is granted until March 31, 2023.
