The Russian Defense Ministry proposed to increase the salaries of employees of a number of law enforcement agencies by 10.5%

This was reported by TASS with reference to the document card on the portal of draft regulations.

“Preparation of a draft resolution of the government of the Russian Federation, providing for an increase in the salaries of the monetary maintenance of military personnel and employees from October 1, 2023 in the amount of 1.105 times,” the statement says.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Federal Customs Service, the Federal Security Service, the Federal Penitentiary Service, the Federal Bailiff Service, the State Fiscal Service, the SVR, the GUSP, the Investigative Committee, the Prosecutor General's Office and the Russian Guard are named co-executors of the initiative.

In November, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on a one-time payment of 195,000 rubles to mobilized and military personnel serving under a contract in the Russian Armed Forces.

In December, the Russian leader exempted military personnel participating in a special military operation, employees of law enforcement agencies and seconded to new Russian regions from providing information about their income.
