According to Tkachenko, the composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky, the poet Alexander Pushkin and the writer Fyodor Dostoevsky are "a weapon in the struggle against Ukraine."

“Obviously, temporary restrictions on the performance of their works in leading theaters should be introduced,” RIA Novosti quotes him.

Tkachenko proposed to replace the works of Russian composers with Ukrainian or European ones.

Earlier, Tkachenko said that a draft law on “overcoming the consequences of Russification” was sent to the Verkhovna Rada, which should legitimize “the fight against hundreds of Pushkin street names.”
